Missing requirements now show where they matter
On a saved job, ClearFit now shows how often a missing or weak requirement appears in the posting. When the analysis has a source-bound nearby résumé line, you can jump to that exact line and decide whether the requirement honestly belongs there. The hint never adds wording or claims experience for you.

Saved résumé results open faster
When you save a résumé result, later opens can reuse that completed work when the résumé and job have not changed. A changed résumé, job, or confirmation still receives a fresh analysis.

Your cookie choices stay reachable on every page
On the pages we deliberately do not measure — a guest check, or the homepage once you have opened the example — the cookie control disappeared along with the tracking, so there was no way to review or change your choice until you reloaded somewhere else. The control now stays available on those pages. Nothing about which cookies we use, or when, has changed: those pages still send us nothing.

The guided tour shows once, and stays gone
The welcome tour came back every time you signed in and every time you clicked Home, because it only ever remembered being dismissed in one browser. It is now remembered on your account, so a new phone, a new browser, a private window, or signing out and back in will not bring it back. Every step now has a plain "Skip tour" button, the last step says "Done", and Escape or a tap outside closes it — all of which count as seen, so nothing traps you in it. If you ever want it again, the "Help" button in the sidebar replays it from the first step.

Better résumé reading
ClearFit now reads long résumés all the way through instead of stopping partway. And if we can't read your whole résumé, we'll tell you plainly rather than score only the part we saw.

You can fold the sidebar away
The menu button beside the ClearFit logo used to do nothing. It now folds the sidebar down to a narrow strip of icons so your work gets more room, and folds it back out again. Hovering an icon tells you what it is, the page you are on stays highlighted, and your choice is remembered next time you visit. On a phone the same button slides the full menu in over the page; tapping outside it, pressing Escape, or picking anything from it closes it and takes you where you asked to go. If you have asked your device to reduce motion, it opens and closes instantly.

Job Vault no longer says you're caught up on jobs we never sent
Job Vault greeted you with "You're caught up," which read as though we had sent you job matches and you had already worked through them. We had not sent any, and that part of ClearFit is not built yet. The page now says plainly that it is not live, tells you what it will do when it is, and gives you one button through to a new analysis where you can paste any job and check your fit today. The button that offered to refresh the page is gone, because there was nothing for it to refresh.

The cookie button no longer sits on top of the app
A small "Cookie settings" button used to float in the corner of every page, even long after you had made your choice, and on a computer it covered the Sign out row. It is gone once you have chosen. You can still change your mind whenever you like, in the same cookie dialog as before. Signed in on a computer, open Settings and find Cookie settings under Privacy; saving from there shows a brief "Saved" next to it. Signed in on a phone, open Account, then Your data, then Cookie settings. Signed out, use the Cookie settings link next to Privacy on the home page: in the footer on a computer, under the "Check my résumé" button on a phone. On a phone, while the first-visit banner is open, the page leaves room for it, so you can scroll everything up clear of it. Nothing about which cookies we use, or when, has changed.

The phone job screen no longer contradicts itself
On a phone, a job could say "0 to fix" directly above a list of missing requirements, which read as "you are short and there is nothing you can do." The Needs work count, its rows and the Missing list now come from the same read of your resume, so they always add up to the requirements total. Requirements your resume touches on but does not state clearly now appear under Needs work with the line we found, instead of disappearing. When there is nothing to reword, the screen says so plainly and points you at what is actually missing. Nothing is written into your resume that was not already there.

Correcting what we said about resume uploads on 19 September
On 19 September we said resume uploads were reading your full work history again. That was not true until the evening of 21 September. Uploads between 10 August and 21 September were read by a much simpler fallback that missed your job titles and employers, so the analysis you saw was built on less than your resume actually said. The fix is now live. If you uploaded a resume in that window, upload it again to get a full analysis. We are sorry — our own checks reported green the whole time, and we have changed how we test this path.

Resume uploads read your full work history again
Uploaded resumes now come through with your roles and the bullets under each one, so your experience is counted properly and rewrite suggestions have something to work from. Some layouts, especially ones that put the job title, employer and dates on separate lines, were being read as unstructured text.

ClearFit now has exactly three plans everywhere: Free, Pro at $19/month, and a one-time Founding Member option. Pricing, checkout, and your account all show the same three choices, and a new Plan & Billing area in settings lets you see your current plan, upgrade, or manage your subscription without leaving the app.
